Day 17: Honoring Police Officers
Today, we are Honoring our Local Police Officers for their willingness to sacrifice for our Safety! We are happy to do this during "National Police Week 2012"! We wanted to do something that would express our Gratitude, while understanding that Police Stations are busy, and with limited access. With that in mind, we turned to Starburst Candy!!

We are "BURSTING" with Gratitude for your willingness to keep us Safe!! You Are a "STAR"!! We used Orange Construction Paper and Black Ink, except for the words in quotes which we wrote in Purple and Orange (Starburst Colors). In the bottom left corner, we attached a PARK Card, referenced this blog, and wrote "Please Enjoy this Act of Random Kindness!" In order to display the sign, we glued it to a purple file folder and attached a strip of egg carton as a stand. This easy to make, self-standing sign, cost maybe $.05 - YAY!
As we were preparing this ARK, I found a video that Completely Conveys my heart - not only for this Project, but also for these amazing Men and Women of Valor!! I am SO grateful to bless the Officers serving in our community, and encourage you to PARK with us in doing likewise!!
