Day Three: Shopping Cart Round Up

Day Three: Shopping Cart Roundup
Temperatures reached 97 hot degrees this afternoon, so the children and I purposed to assist Store Clerks by rounding up shopping carts left in the parking lot.  We believed that not only would this Act of Random Kindness bless the Store Clerk assigned to do it, but hopefully the public coming to shop as well.

Fortunately, the store we chose, had a parking lot FULL of carts.  We gave about 30 minutes of time, and made a significant impact - Yay!!
We are quickly realizing that even in "small" tasks, we find can find great joy!  Also, today we discovered that PARKing is NOT about how one feels; but rather about choosing to PARK regardless of how you feel!!   We also experienced that a fast route to feeling better is by being other's minded!!  Valuable lessons Practiced today as we PARKed!!  Where did you PARK?  What lessons are you learning by choosing to Proactively Consider Others Over Yourself?
